Will playing hard to get backfire with my ex girlfriend?

my ex and i broke up a couple months ago..she said she wasnt ready for a relationship...i excepted the break up, we still talk from time to time, but she is the one that always contacts me...i never contact her. Is that good on my part? Or will she stop contacting me, because i never contact her first?..continue doing what im doing? i kinda want her to realize what she gave up..they say u never kno what u got til its gone....
