Moving to a new city alone for a fresh start...?

Would your sister and her husband allow you to stay with them for awhile until you are able to secure a job and a place to live? I ask because if not, then you had better have a job lined up before you move there. The unemployment rate in most of Florida is higher than the national average, it's very difficult to find a job there right now. As a recent college graduate I'm assuming you'd want a job in your chosen field as opposed to a job at McDonald's (which even flipping burgers isn't the easiest job to get there right now). Perhaps you should take a short trip down there and start looking, then wait to hear something back. I would NOT just up and move down there though, not with their economy, as you may find yourself moving back home soon after. Definitely have a plan and a job first.
